Special Interest/Fellowship Opportunities

Quilters Group:   This group meets periodically to work on various wall hangings for the church and baby quilts for our newest church members.  Contact Leta Wooley or Audrey Cammack for more information 

Fitness Classes:  These classes are offered on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday morning at 5:45 a.m. and Monday at 5:45 p.m.; they include step aerobics and toning, a weight class and a yoga/pilates class.  Contact Melissa Raube for more information.  

Dinner for 8:  Groups of 8-10 people are randomly selected in the fall and meet throughout the year to share in fellowship through dining together.  Contact Jeff and Ann Ringness for more information.   

Families in Fellowship Group:  The Family Fellowship Group plans periodic activities that are open to all members of the congregation.  Some of the activities have included dinner and mini golf at Didley's in Metamora, a concert and ice cream social at the church, and swimming at the Metamora Pool.  For more information contact Brad Shapland.  For pictures of past events and a list of upcoming events click here.

Men's Breakfast:  The monthly Men's Breakfast is held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 a.m.  It is a chance for all men of the congregation to enjoy a home-cooked meal, fellowship and short devotion.  For more information contact Jim Reid.

Mom2Mom:  Mom2Mom is a discussion group designed for moms of the community to grow together through faith, fun, food and fellowship.  They support and encourage each other by sharing their 'mom' moments. Childcare is provided.  This group meets on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m.  The first and third Thursday of the month includes a topical discussion.  The second and fourth Thursday includes a Bible study.  For more information contact Gina Hulett.

Friendship First Women's Fellowship:  This group meets about once a month for fun, food and fellowship at various locations in the area.  It is open to all women.  Contact Mandy McMahon for information.

Sew 'n Sews:  This group meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 p.m. to work on various sewing projects.  Whether you're experienced or want to learn more about sewing, you are invited.  For more information on Sew 'n Sews contact Ruth Inman
